Interviewer: Who would win in a fight Gandalf or Harry?

Dan: I think that’s a unfair question because if Gandalf were to fight someone it would be Dumbledore and I would Harry against Frodo. If it was Harry vs Frodo, Harry would have him. But, i’ve met Elijah - who is a lovely man, so i’m not going to try and start a fight with him! But I could have you Elijah. But Harry and Gandalf I would have to say Gandalf, but it would be close. Dumbledore would beat Gandalf though!

Interviewer: It could be the fight of the century.

Dan: It could be! We should try and stage it get Mckellen
and Gambon together and get them in boxing gloves - get them to smash each other about a bit!

I would just like to shout out to Maggie Smith, the actress who played Minerva McGonagall. During the last two films, she was going through chemotherapy because she had breast cancer. This woman put on her brave face and did the best damn acting she could. She looked beautiful and perfect as though she were as healthy as could be. She brought tears to our eyes and smiles to our lips whilst battling CANCER and Death Eaters. Did she have to keep on play McGonagall? No, of course not. She could have stopped to get healthy at a steady pace. But she kept acting for us, for the fans. I would just like to thank her and show my appreciation.

This is what our state lines might look like if we drew them based on who actually talks with each other, at least according to cell phone data gathered by MIT. These are the geographic clusters of who texts with whom within an area, from the MIT Senseable City Lab’s Connected States of America mapping project.

Super nerdy joke time

nerdschoollife:

Newton, Pascal, and Einstein are playing hide-and-go-seek in heaven.

Einstein closes his eyes and starts counting.

Pascal goes and hides behind a cloud.

Newton stays where he is, and draws a 1mx1m square on the floor around him.

Einstein finishes counting and turns around.

“Ah ha, Newton! I found you!”

“No you haven’t, you’ve found one Newton over 1m2 … You found Pascal.”
